This tip is from a Preston Village Homeowner:
Many of the mailboxes are crooked or rocking and may appear to need concrete to stabilize them. However, one of our homeowners discovered that the base deep in the ground is a separate part from the pipe holding the mailbox. There are screws that attach these 2 parts underground which may have rusted over the years. After replacing these screws with new, stainless steel screws, this should fix the problem without having to use cement.
